The SIG Cross Magnum is SIG’s folding bolt-action hunting rifle. The Cross is a one-piece receiver with a folding precision stock, a 2-stage match trigger, and a free-float handguard so a hunting rifle still packs like a camp gun.

The receiver is optic-ready. A factory scope is not installed. Magazines are AICS-pattern on the short-action guns. These are serialized rifles and ship to a licensed FFL.

This configuration

SIG designed the Magnum receiver for magnum cartridges and lists it as capable of accommodating cartridges up to.300 PRC. The 24-inch barrel on this rifle is the user-changeable stainless medium-contour 5R barrel with a 1:9 twist, 5/8-24 threads on a 90-degree shoulder, and a radial brake. Barrel-change procedures are not covered here. Furniture differs from the standard hunting Cross. SIG specifies a folding precision-adjustable stock, a weighted AR-compatible PRS grip, and an ambidextrous PRS thumb rest. The free-floating forend is M-LOK/ARCA with Picatinny, and the receiver rail is 20 MOA. The 2-stage adjustable match trigger is listed at 2.5–4 lb.
