SIG Sauer M400 SDI X Rifle, 5.56 NATO, 16-Inch Barrel, Moss Green, 30-Round
The SIG M400 SDI moss green is SIG Academy’s AR in moss green Cerakote: fully ambidextrous controls including the SDI bolt catch, Matchlite Duo, and a rigid dual-clamp M-LOK handguard.
SDI X is SIG Academy’s AR. Instructors asked for a fully ambidextrous rifle, including a bolt catch unique to the SDI lower, so left- and right-handed shooters run the same gun. A dual-clamp steel lockup keeps the M-LOK handguard rigid when lights and grips hang on all four sides. The Matchlite Duo two-stage is a flat 4.5–6.5 lb pull.
The 16 in. chrome/moly barrel is 1:7 twist with SIG’s flash-hider compensator. Magpul’s SL stock is six-position. The rifle is 7.0 lb, 36.5 in. extended and about 33.3 in. collapsed. Width is 2.8 in. Height is 7.1 in. A factory red dot is not installed on the iron-sight SDI rifles.
This moss green SDI X
Moss green Cerakote is the finish on this 16 in. SDI X. Magpul MOE-SL stock, one 30-round magazine. A factory red dot is not installed. The SDI bolt catch and dual-clamp handguard match the black SDI X.
