The Trijicon MRO HD combo pairs a 1×25 red dot sight with a matching 3x magnifier. Model MRO-C-2200057 includes the AC32068 full co-witness sight mount and a separate quick-release, flip-to-side magnifier mount. Both optics have black housings, and the sight offers a red 2 MOA dot with an optional 68 MOA segmented circle.

The full co-witness sight mount aligns the optic with compatible standard-height backup iron sights. The magnifier has its own adjustable-height mount, with a riser plate and additional fasteners supplied for full or lower 1/3 co-witness configurations. This is the standard MRO HD combo, not the Patrol package with lens caps, an anti-reflection device, and a Q-LOC sight mount.

The HD reticle is selectable: the center dot can appear on its own or with the surrounding segmented circle. The ambidextrous control combines reticle selection and brightness adjustment. There are 16 brightness settings in total, with eight for each reticle mode, including two night-vision-compatible settings per mode. These low-output settings support compatible night-vision equipment; the sight does not provide night vision by itself.

The included 3x magnifier adds a magnified view without turning the MRO HD into a variable-power scope. Its flip-to-side mount allows the magnifier to move clear of the sight, and the adjustable diopter accommodates individual eyesight. The 1x sight has unlimited eye relief on its own; the magnifier introduces its own eye-relief requirement.

The sight uses a sealed, hard-anodized housing made from forged 7075-T6 aluminum. Sub-flush adjustment controls keep protrusions to a minimum, while multi-coated lenses support a clear view. The matte black finish is paired with red LED illumination.

A CR2032 battery powers the sight, and the tethered battery cap stays attached during battery changes. Trijicon rates continuous battery life at up to 2.5 years in dot-only mode or 75 days with the circle-and-dot reticle, measured at daylight setting 3 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Brightness, reticle choice, and temperature affect actual runtime.
