The Springfield Armory Hellion 5.56 18-Inch Bullpup Rifle 30+1 Black is a compact 5.56 NATO bullpup rifle built around Springfield Armory's Hellion platform. Its bullpup layout keeps the action behind the trigger, giving the rifle a shorter overall footprint while preserving a 18-inch barrel for practical downrange performance.

The 18-inch configuration gives the Hellion additional barrel length over the standard model while retaining compact handling, a four-prong flash hider, and the five-position stock system.

Hellion Bullpup Platform

Springfield's Hellion design uses a two-position adjustable short-stroke piston system, reversible case ejection, ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous magazine and bolt releases, integrated flip-up sights, and a full-length Picatinny top rail. The polymer M-Lok handguard adds accessory mounting space, and the included padded rifle case helps protect the rifle and mounted optics during transport.
