The cushioned grip has no exposed metal in the backstrap, helping soften recoil while keeping the revolver compact enough for field, range or carry use.

Integrated subassemblies allow takedown without special tools, while the transfer bar mechanism and triple-locking cylinder support reliable operation.

As with Ruger .357 Magnum models, this SP101 can also use factory .38 Special ammunition.
