Shipping/Legal Restrictions

Deerford Defense operates in strict compliance with all federal, state, and local laws governing the sale of firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, and related accessories.

The restrictions implemented by Deerford Defense are not intended to be legal advice, and Deerford Defense makes no representations regarding the legality of any item in any specific jurisdiction. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

Customer Acknowledgment and Certification

By purchasing any item from Deerford Defense, the customer certifies, acknowledges, and agrees to the following:

  • The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the purchase, possession, ownership, and use of any item purchased from Deerford Defense complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances in the customer’s jurisdiction.
  • The customer has independently verified that its purchase and intended use of any item is legal in the customer’s state and local jurisdiction.
  • The customer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Deerford Defense and its affiliates from any liability, claims, or legal consequences arising from the customer’s purchase, ownership, possession, or use of any item purchased from Deerford Defense.

Failure to comply with applicable laws may result in severe legal penalties. If you are unsure about the legal status of an item in your area, consult a qualified attorney or local law enforcement before making a purchase.

In addition, any and all firearms or NFA sales are required to be shipped to FFL dealers only, no exceptions.

Sales Restrictions:

All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the FFL license. All licenses will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match exactly to avoid delays and cancellation.

Freight Forwarding is required for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.

Semi-Auto Rifle with a Detachable Magazine Cannot have:

  • Folding/telescoping stock
  • Threaded barrel
  • Pistol Grip, Thumbhole Stock, or other Stock which allows an individual to grip the Firearm directly below any portion of the Action of the Firearm
  • Forward Pistol Grip
  • Flash Suppressor
  • Grenade Launcher or Flare Launcher
  • Bayonet mount

Semi-Auto Rifle with a Fixed Magazine Cannot have:

  • More than 10 Rounds

Semi-Auto Pistols with a Detachable Magazine Cannot have:

  • Magazine located outside of the Pistol Grip
  • Threaded Barrel capable of accepting a Flash Suppressor, Forward Pistol Grip, or Silencer
  • Shroud that encircles the Barrel except for a Slide
  • Secondhand Grip
  • Weigh more than 50oz

Semi-Auto Pistol with a Fixed Magazine cannot have:

  • More than 10 Rounds

Semi-Auto Shotgun cannot have:

  • Folding or Telescoping Stock
  • Pistol Grip, Thumbhole Stock, or Stock that allows the individual to place the Trigger Hand under any portion of the Action
  • Shroud that encircles the Barrel except for a Slide (Handguard)
  • Ability to accept a Detachable Magazine
  • Revolving Cylinder

Any Semi-Auto Firearm that is not a Pistol, Revolver, Rifle, or Shotgun cannot have:

  • Pistol Grip, Thumbhole Stock, or other Stock that allows the individual to position the Trigger Hand under any portion of the action of the Firearm
  • Ability to accept a Detachable Magazine outside of the Pistol Grip
  • A Fixed Magazine more than 10 Rounds
  • A Flash Suppressor or Silencer, or a Threaded Barrel
  • A Shroud except a Slide
  • A Secondhand Grip
  • An Arm-Brace

Delaware

  • No Sales of Suppressors/Silencers
  • No Sales of Automatic Knives
  • No Binary Triggers
  • No Rifle or Shotgun Sales to any Resident of Delaware that is under 21 Years Old
  • No variants of AR-15 or AK-47, Rifle or Pistol, or Completed Lowers are to be Sold or Shipped to Delaware
  • Airguns can not be larger than .177 Cal
  • No Semi-automatic, centerfire Rifle that can accept a detachable Magazine and has any of the following features:
    1. Folding or Telescoping Stock
    2. Pistol Grip or a Thumbhole Stock
    3. Forward Pistol Grip
    4. Flash Suppressor
    5. Grenade Launcher or Flare Launcher
    6. Semi-Automatic, Centerfire Rifle that has an Overall Length under 30 inches
  • No Semi-Auto Shotguns are to be sold to residents of Delaware with the following characteristics:
    1. Possesses a Detachable Magazine
    2. Possesses both a Pistol Grip and Folding or Telescopic Stock
    3. Possesses a Revolving Cylinder
  • No Semi-Automatic Centerfire Pistol with a Fixed Magazine that can accept more than 17 Rounds
  • No Semi-Automatic Rifle with a Fixed Magazine than can accept more than 17 Rounds
  • No Magazines with a Capacity Over 17 Rounds
  • No Semi-Automatic Pistol that has a Detachable Magazine and has any of the following features:

Florida

  • No Sales of Binary Triggers
  • No Sales of Ballistic Knives
  • Pepper Sprays or Gels cannot exceed 2oz (59 ml/cc)

Georgia

  • Airguns Must have an orange tip

Hawaii

  • No Sales of Suppressors/Silencers
  • Freight Forwarding is Required
  • No Third-Party Fulfilled Items
