Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Deerford Defense website and any purchase made from Deerford Defense LLC, referred to in these Terms as “Deerford Defense,” “Deerford,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

By accessing this website, creating an account, submitting an order, selecting a Federal Firearms Licensee, or purchasing a product from Deerford Defense, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

These Terms incorporate our Refund, Returns, and Cancellation Policy; Shipping, Delivery, FFL Transfer, and Legal Restrictions Policy; Privacy Policy; and any other policy posted on this website.

Do not use this website or place an order if you do not agree to these Terms.

By using this website or placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are legally old enough to purchase the products ordered.
  • You are legally permitted to purchase, possess, receive, own, and use each product ordered.
  • You are not prohibited by federal, state, or local law from purchasing or possessing firearms, ammunition, magazines, receivers, frames, parts, accessories, or other regulated products.
  • You will not purchase any product on behalf of a person who is legally prohibited from receiving or possessing that product.
  • You will comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the purchase, transfer, possession, transportation, storage, and use of the products ordered.
  • All information you submit to Deerford Defense is complete, current, and accurate.

It is your responsibility to understand the laws that apply to you before placing an order. Information published by Deerford Defense is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice.

We may refuse, hold, restrict, or cancel any transaction when we reasonably believe that fulfillment may violate a law, carrier restriction, distributor policy, manufacturer policy, payment-processing requirement, or Deerford Defense policy.

2. Regulated Products

Firearms, ammunition, magazines, frames, receivers, suppressors, NFA items, firearm components, knives, defensive products, and other merchandise may be subject to federal, state, or local restrictions.

A product appearing on this website or being accepted into the shopping cart does not mean that the product is legal in every jurisdiction or that Deerford Defense is obligated to ship it to every customer.

We reserve the right to:

  • Restrict products from particular jurisdictions.
  • Require proof of age, identity, residency, licensing, eligibility, or lawful purpose.
  • Request additional information before accepting or fulfilling an order.
  • Refuse an order that presents a legal, compliance, fraud, safety, or operational concern.
  • Cancel an order that cannot lawfully or reasonably be completed.

The customer remains responsible for confirming the legality of the product in the customer’s jurisdiction.

3. Orders and Order Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation only means that we received the order. It does not mean that the order has been finally accepted or that inventory has been reserved.

An order may be reviewed for:

  • Product availability
  • Payment authorization
  • Fraud risk
  • Billing information
  • Shipping eligibility
  • Legal restrictions
  • FFL eligibility
  • Distributor or manufacturer restrictions
  • Pricing or listing errors

We may accept, reject, limit, place on hold, partially fulfill, or cancel an order at our discretion and as permitted by law.

If one item in a multi-item order is unavailable, we may cancel the unavailable item and fulfill the remainder of the order. Products in the same order may ship separately and may arrive on different dates.

If Deerford Defense cancels an order solely because of an inventory shortage, pricing error, listing error, or other issue caused by Deerford Defense, the canceled amount will be refunded without a cancellation fee.

A cancellation resulting from inaccurate customer information, an unlawful purchase, customer ineligibility, payment-verification failure, an incorrect FFL selection, FFL refusal, refusal to accept delivery, or another customer-caused issue remains subject to the applicable fees in our Refund, Returns, and Cancellation Policy.

4. Product Availability and Fulfillment

Product availability may be supplied by Deerford Defense, a distributor, a manufacturer, or another fulfillment partner. Inventory information can change without notice and may not update in real time.

Some products may ship directly from a distributor or manufacturer. By placing an order, you authorize Deerford Defense to transmit the information reasonably necessary to process and fulfill the order.

We do not guarantee that:

  • A product shown as available will remain available.
  • Every product in an order will ship from the same location.
  • Products will arrive in a single shipment.
  • A distributor or manufacturer will accept an order.
  • A product will ship within a particular number of days.

Shipping and processing estimates are estimates only and are not guarantees.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions, shipping charges, and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct typographical, pricing, calculation, data-feed, coupon, inventory, and system errors.

By submitting an order, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided.
  • The billing information provided is accurate.
  • You authorize Deerford Defense and its payment providers to charge the amount shown at checkout.
  • You authorize any additional amount that you separately approve for shipping, taxes, transfer-related charges, or other disclosed costs.

We may cancel or refuse an order placed at an incorrect price. If the order is canceled solely because of our pricing or listing error, the canceled amount will be refunded without a cancellation fee.

Payment authorization does not guarantee final acceptance of an order.

6. Fraud Prevention and Identity Verification

To protect our customers and business, we may use fraud-screening systems and request additional verification.

Verification may include:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Cardholder confirmation
  • Billing-address confirmation
  • Signature confirmation
  • Proof of residency
  • Confirmation from the receiving FFL
  • Confirmation that the customer authorized the transaction

We may delay, refuse, or cancel an order when requested verification is not provided or when the transaction presents an unacceptable risk.

A cancellation caused by the customer’s failure to provide requested verification, use of inaccurate information, or inability to verify the transaction may be subject to the 20% cancellation fee and any other nonrecoverable costs.

7. Product Information, Images, and UPCs

We attempt to provide accurate product titles, descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices, and availability. However, product information may be supplied by manufacturers, distributors, data providers, or other third parties and may contain errors.

Product photographs may be representative. Manufacturers may change packaging, finishes, markings, accessories, materials, or specifications without notice.

When a listing includes a Universal Product Code, commonly called a UPC, and a manufacturer model or part number, those identifiers control over generalized photographs or descriptive language.

Before ordering, customers should independently confirm any specification that is material to the purchase, including:

  • Caliber or gauge
  • Capacity
  • Barrel length
  • Finish
  • Color
  • Included accessories
  • Thread pattern
  • Optic footprint
  • State-compliant configuration
  • Manufacturer model number
  • UPC

A manufacturer’s running change to a product that retains the same UPC or manufacturer model number is not necessarily an incorrect-item shipment.

If Deerford Defense ships a materially different UPC or manufacturer model number from the item ordered, the customer must promptly contact us and leave the item unused and unaltered.

8. Federal Firearms Licensee Transfers

Firearms and other products requiring transfer through a Federal Firearms Licensee must be shipped to an eligible receiving FFL.

Deerford Defense will handle obtaining, reviewing, or validating the receiving dealer’s license when required. However, the customer is responsible for selecting the correct receiving FFL.

Before placing an order, the customer must confirm that the selected FFL:

  • Is the dealer the customer intends to use.
  • Is currently operating and legally eligible to receive the shipment.
  • Accepts firearm transfers from online retailers and third-party distributors.
  • Will accept the specific type of firearm or regulated product ordered.
  • Will accept delivery at the licensed premises address.
  • Is willing and able to complete the transfer for the customer.
  • Has disclosed its transfer, storage, background-check, and related fees to the customer.

Deerford Defense does not control the receiving FFL’s policies, business hours, fees, storage requirements, transfer decisions, or willingness to accept a shipment.

The customer is responsible for all fees imposed by the receiving FFL.

If the customer selects an incorrect FFL, the FFL refuses the shipment, the FFL cannot accept the particular firearm, or the order must be redirected or returned because of the customer’s FFL selection, the customer is responsible for the 20% cancellation or restocking fee and all associated shipping, return, transfer, distributor, and third-party costs.

9. Background Checks and Transfer Eligibility

The receiving FFL is responsible for conducting any required background check and completing the transfer in accordance with applicable law.

Deerford Defense does not control:

  • Background-check results
  • Government delays
  • Waiting periods
  • Additional documentation requirements
  • The receiving FFL’s transfer decision
  • The customer’s eligibility to receive the firearm

A delayed, denied, refused, abandoned, or otherwise unsuccessful transfer does not make Deerford Defense responsible for the customer’s inability to receive the firearm.

If the transfer cannot be completed for a reason not caused by Deerford Defense, any resulting cancellation or return is subject to a 20% fee and deduction of original shipping, return shipping, distributor fees, storage fees, transfer fees, and other costs incurred.

10. Mandatory Firearm Inspection Before Transfer

The customer must inspect every firearm at the receiving FFL before completing the transfer.

The inspection should include, as applicable:

  • Manufacturer and model
  • UPC or manufacturer part number
  • Caliber or gauge
  • Finish and configuration
  • Barrel length
  • Visible condition
  • Shipping damage
  • Major included components and accessories

If the firearm is visibly damaged, materially different from the firearm ordered, or otherwise unacceptable, the customer must:

  1. Stop the transfer.
  2. Refuse to take possession of the firearm.
  3. Leave the firearm with the receiving FFL.
  4. Contact Deerford Defense promptly.
  5. Provide photographs and any other documentation requested.

Do not complete the transfer with the intention of returning the firearm later.

Once the customer completes the transfer, the firearm is considered accepted and becomes a used firearm for return purposes, even if it has not been fired.

Firearms are generally not returnable to Deerford Defense after transfer. Manufacturing defects discovered after transfer must ordinarily be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty process.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Orders may ship through carriers selected by Deerford Defense, its distributors, manufacturers, or fulfillment partners.

We may require an adult signature, direct signature, restricted delivery, identification, or other delivery verification.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
  • Providing accurate contact information.
  • Ensuring that a responsible recipient is available when required.
  • Monitoring tracking information.
  • Providing a safe and secure delivery location.
  • Promptly retrieving packages after delivery.

Deerford Defense covers qualifying loss or damage occurring while a shipment is in transit and before carrier-confirmed delivery, subject to the procedures in our Shipping, Delivery, FFL Transfer, and Legal Restrictions Policy.

Once the carrier records a shipment as delivered to the address provided by the customer or to the selected receiving FFL, Deerford Defense’s responsibility for loss, theft, disappearance, or nonreceipt ends to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Carrier-confirmed delivery will be treated as proof of delivery for purposes of our policies.

After carrier-confirmed delivery, Deerford Defense is not responsible for:

  • Porch theft
  • Theft from a mailbox, parcel locker, business, residence, or FFL
  • Packages removed by another person
  • Packages misplaced after delivery
  • Packages left unsecured
  • Weather exposure after delivery
  • Failure of the customer or FFL to locate or secure the package
  • Any other loss occurring after delivery

The delivery cutoff does not prevent a timely claim that Deerford Defense shipped an incorrect product or that a firearm had visible transit damage when inspected before transfer.

12. Order Cancellations

All customer-requested order cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

The fee is calculated using the merchandise subtotal of the canceled item or order. Taxes will be refunded as required by law. Separately stated shipping charges and other costs may also be nonrefundable or deducted when already incurred.

Cancellation requests are not effective unless and until Deerford Defense approves the cancellation in writing.

Orders may be submitted to a distributor, manufacturer, warehouse, or fulfillment provider shortly after checkout. Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee that fulfillment can be stopped.

If an order has already entered fulfillment or shipment, the customer is also responsible for:

  • Original shipping
  • Return shipping
  • Return-to-sender charges
  • Carrier fees
  • Distributor or manufacturer fees
  • Address-correction fees
  • Transfer-related expenses
  • Other nonrecoverable costs incurred because of the cancellation

The 20% cancellation fee also applies to customer-caused cancellations, including cancellations resulting from:

  • Ordering the wrong product
  • Changing one’s mind
  • Finding a lower price elsewhere
  • Selecting the wrong FFL
  • FFL refusal
  • Failed customer verification
  • Customer ineligibility
  • A denied or unsuccessful transfer
  • Ordering a product prohibited in the customer’s jurisdiction
  • Providing an incorrect address
  • Refusing delivery
  • Failing to accept or retrieve the order

Orders canceled solely because of a Deerford Defense inventory, pricing, or listing error will receive a full refund of the canceled amount without the 20% cancellation fee.

13. Returns and Restocking Fee

Eligible returns require prior written authorization from Deerford Defense.

All approved customer-requested returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, calculated from the purchase price of the returned merchandise.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. Return shipping, return-label costs, insurance, distributor fees, payment-processing costs where permitted, and other nonrecoverable costs may also be deducted.

No refund will be issued until the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.

Additional requirements and exclusions are contained in our Refund, Returns, and Cancellation Policy.

14. Nonreturnable Products

Unless otherwise required by law, the following are generally nonreturnable:

  • Firearms after transfer
  • Ammunition
  • NFA items
  • Used products
  • Fired products
  • Installed or altered products
  • Special-order products
  • Clearance or final-sale products
  • Products missing packaging, parts, accessories, manuals, or documentation
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products prohibited from return by law
  • Products restricted from return by a manufacturer or distributor
  • Other categories identified as nonreturnable on the product page or in our Refund, Returns, and Cancellation Policy

15. Manufacturer Warranties and Product Defects

Many products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

After a product has been accepted, transferred, installed, mounted, used, or fired, warranty, repair, and manufacturing-defect claims must ordinarily be submitted directly to the manufacturer.

Deerford Defense does not manufacture the products sold on this website and does not control the terms, duration, availability, or outcome of a manufacturer’s warranty.

Deerford Defense may assist with manufacturer contact information but is not obligated to replace a product covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

This section does not eliminate any right that cannot lawfully be waived.

16. Safe and Lawful Use

The customer is responsible for the safe, lawful, and appropriate possession, storage, transportation, installation, maintenance, and use of every product purchased.

Always follow:

  • Manufacturer instructions
  • Applicable laws
  • Accepted safety practices
  • Firearm safety rules
  • Proper installation procedures

Deerford Defense is not responsible for injury, death, property damage, legal consequences, or other losses resulting from misuse, negligent use, unlawful use, improper installation, modification, storage, transportation, or handling of a product.

17. Website Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You must promptly notify Deerford Defense if you believe your account or payment information has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate an account associated with fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, policy violations, chargeback abuse, or security concerns.

18. Prohibited Website Uses

You may not use this website:

  • For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • To purchase a regulated product for a prohibited person.
  • To submit false or misleading information.
  • To evade legal, payment, age, identity, shipping, or FFL requirements.
  • To interfere with website operation or security.
  • To introduce malware or harmful code.
  • To scrape, copy, reproduce, or commercially exploit website content without permission.
  • To violate the intellectual-property rights of Deerford Defense or another party.
  • To engage in abusive, threatening, harassing, or fraudulent conduct.

We may restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

19. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logos, text, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, page designs, software, branding, and other materials, is owned by Deerford Defense or used under license.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, scrape, repurpose, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission, except for ordinary personal and noncommercial use.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and all content, products, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Deerford Defense disclaims all warranties not expressly provided in writing, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted website operation.

Manufacturer warranties, when available, are governed solely by the manufacturer’s terms.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, these exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deerford Defense and its owners, employees, officers, agents, affiliates, contractors, distributors, manufacturers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use of or inability to use the website
  • Purchase, possession, transfer, installation, or use of a product
  • Shipping or fulfillment delays
  • Carrier conduct
  • Distributor or manufacturer conduct
  • Receiving FFL conduct
  • Background-check delays or denials
  • Product-listing errors
  • Legal restrictions
  • Unauthorized account activity
  • Loss occurring after carrier-confirmed delivery

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deerford Defense’s total liability relating to an order or product will not exceed the amount actually paid to Deerford Defense for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

22. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Deerford Defense and its owners, employees, officers, agents, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your violation of law.
  • Your purchase or possession of a prohibited product.
  • Your misuse, negligent use, unlawful use, alteration, or improper installation of a product.
  • Your submission of false or inaccurate information.
  • Your failure to comply with firearm-transfer or possession requirements.
  • Your infringement of another party’s rights.

This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

23. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Deerford Defense before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

We may contest a chargeback involving a valid transaction, carrier-confirmed delivery, an accepted firearm transfer, disclosed cancellation or restocking fees, or another charge governed by these policies.

We may provide the payment processor with order records, policy acceptance, tracking information, delivery confirmation, FFL information, customer correspondence, fraud-verification records, and other relevant evidence.

A chargeback does not eliminate amounts lawfully owed under these Terms.

Nothing in this section limits a customer’s nonwaivable rights under applicable law.

24. Third-Party Services

Deerford Defense may rely on third parties for payment processing, inventory data, product information, website hosting, fraud prevention, shipping, fulfillment, and firearm transfers.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, outages, delays, decisions, or policies of independent third parties except to the extent required by law.

25. Force Majeure

Deerford Defense is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Fire
  • Flood
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Civil unrest
  • Labor disputes
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Government action
  • Regulatory changes
  • Product recalls
  • Supply-chain interruptions
  • Utility failure
  • Internet or telecommunications outages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Distributor or manufacturer system failures
  • Payment-network interruptions

We may delay, modify, or cancel affected orders as reasonably necessary.

26. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described in that policy.

27. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law controls.

Any lawsuit relating to these Terms, this website, or a transaction with Deerford Defense must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction serving the Louisiana parish in which Deerford Defense maintains its principal place of business, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Before filing a lawsuit, the parties agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

29. No Waiver

A failure by Deerford Defense to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision later.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the policies incorporated into them constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Deerford Defense concerning website use and purchases, except for any separate written agreement signed by Deerford Defense.

31. Policy Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

The Terms in effect when an order is placed will generally govern that order, except where a change is required by law or applies to an ongoing website-use issue.

32. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be submitted through the contact information published on the Deerford Defense website.
