Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 FFP Riflescope, Red MRAD Crosshair Reticle, Flat Dark Earth

This flat dark earth Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 combines a red MRAD crosshair-dot reticle with a segmented circle, Q-LOC quick-release mount, and Tenebraex flip caps. Its FDE FIR-265 Cerakote finish distinguishes it from the matte-black Q-LOC model, while its milliradian scale separates it from the FDE MOA version.

The first-focal-plane reticle remains proportional to the image from 1x to 8x. Adjustments are in 0.1-MRAD increments, matching the reticle’s angular units. Eye relief ranges from 4 to 3.9 inches, and the zoom dial has an integrated fin. This is the standard crosshair-dot pattern, not the Enhanced pattern supplied with the SCO package.

The LED reticle runs on one AA battery and offers 11 brightness settings: two for night-vision compatibility, eight for daylight, and one extra-bright setting. Trijicon specifies 633 hours of operation at setting 6 with a lithium AA battery. An alkaline AA is also supported; the quoted runtime is for lithium power.

The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is rated for submersion to 20 m. Its integrated mounting interface uses the supplied Q-LOC quick-release mount without conventional scope rings. Tenebraex flip caps are included, along with a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
