The Trijicon RMR Type 2 RM06 optic combines a 3.25 MOA red dot with adjustable brightness and a flat dark earth Cerakote finish.

The RM06-C-700696 optic combines a 3.25 MOA red dot with a flat dark earth Cerakote finish. Its dot sits between the finer 1 MOA and larger 6.5 MOA options, covering less of a small aiming mark than the largest dot. The FDE Cerakote finish differs from the coyote brown hard anodizing used on the HRS model.

This version offers the same automatic mode and side-button brightness controls as the black RM06 optic. Its FDE housing changes the appearance, not the reticle or mounting footprint. A rail mount is not included, allowing you to select a compatible mounting solution for your platform.

Construction and Illumination

The forged-aluminum housing surrounds the tempered-glass lens with the distinctive protective profile of the RMR optic family. Type 2 electronics and battery contacts are designed for reliability in demanding conditions. The open-emitter design keeps the sight compact, with a non-magnifying view and a single illuminated dot.

A CR2032 battery powers the LED from beneath the optic, so battery replacement requires removing the sight from its mount. Automatic brightness and eight manual settings, including two night-vision-compatible levels, give you a choice of illumination modes without changing the dot size.

Mounting and Fit

This optic is supplied without a rail or platform-specific mount. Choose an RMR-compatible mount or adapter plate designed for your exact platform. The smaller RMRcc optic uses a different footprint.
