The Trijicon ACOG 4×32 package with an RCR optic combines a riflescope and a separate red dot sight. The ACOG has a red .223 chevron reticle, and the enclosed-emitter RCR has a 3.25 MOA red dot. Model TA31-C-100813 includes the black ACOG, its top-mounted RCR, and a thumbscrew mount in one package.

Red Chevron Reticle

Choose this bundle when emitter protection is a priority for the secondary optic. The RCR encloses its LED and internal light path, while the ACOG retains its fixed 4x view and battery-free illumination. Each optic has its own reticle and illumination system.

An open chevron gives the sight picture a distinct pointed center without filling it with a solid triangle. The additional ballistic markings belong to this particular reticle, so the model designation matters as much as its color when comparing ACOGs.

Battery-Free Fiber Optics and Tritium

Fiber optics collect available light to illuminate the reticle during the day, while tritium provides illumination in low light. You do not need to switch the scope on or keep a spare battery for its reticle. Brightness responds to available light rather than a manual dial.

The reticle remains etched into the optical system, so its pattern is not created solely by illumination. This gives you a visible reference even when the illuminated portion is less prominent against the background. The scope itself has no battery compartment.

An Enclosed RCR Red Dot

The RCR provides a 3.25 MOA red dot in an enclosed, non-magnifying optic above the ACOG. Its sealed emitter chamber helps keep moisture and debris away from the internal light path. The red dot uses a CR2032 battery and ten manual brightness settings.

Top-loading battery access lets you replace the RCR battery without removing the red dot from its mount. The ACOG remains battery-free, so the two illumination systems operate independently. This bundle includes an RCR, not an open-emitter RMR.

Compact Fixed-Power Construction

The scope combines fixed 4x magnification with a 32 mm objective lens. Its forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is sealed and nitrogen-filled, protecting the multi-coated optics. It has a 7-degree field of view and an exit pupil of approximately 8 mm.

Included Mount and Fit

The included TA51-style thumbscrew mount attaches to a compatible flattop rail. The ACOG uses a dedicated mounting base rather than conventional riflescope rings. It has a relatively short eye relief of 1.5 inches, so check your available rail space and normal viewing position before choosing a mount.
