The Trijicon ACOG ECOS 4×32 with RMR Type 2 combines a green crosshair, 3.25 MOA red dot, and backup iron sights. Model TA31-D-100554 has a Flat Dark Earth finish and includes a quick-release mount.

Green Crosshair Reticle

This ECOS package brings together three sighting options without turning the ACOG into a variable-power scope. The ACOG has a green crosshair illuminated by fiber optics and tritium. The package also includes an RMR, backup iron sights, and a lever-style quick-release mount instead of the standard thumbscrew mount.

The crosshair uses intersecting lines for a familiar central reference, with ballistic markings incorporated into the pattern. It is a different visual style from the ACOG chevron or horseshoe, making it a good fit when you prefer a conventional scope reticle.

Battery-Free Fiber Optics and Tritium

Fiber optics collect available light to illuminate the reticle during the day, while tritium provides illumination in low light. You do not need to switch the scope on or keep a spare battery for its reticle. Brightness responds to available light rather than a manual dial.

The reticle remains etched into the optical system, so its pattern is not created solely by illumination. This gives you a visible reference even when the illuminated portion is less prominent against the background. The scope itself has no battery compartment.

A Separate RMR Type 2 Red Dot

The included RM01 RMR Type 2 provides a 3.25 MOA red dot in a non-magnifying view. This open-emitter optic adjusts brightness automatically; it is not the manually adjustable RM06. Its CR2032 battery is separate from the ACOG illumination system.

The RMR sits above the ACOG in this factory combination. You receive two separate optics rather than a scope with a switchable magnification setting. The RMR battery is accessed from underneath, so you must remove the optic from its mount to replace the battery.

Compact Fixed-Power Construction

The scope combines fixed 4x magnification with a 32 mm objective lens. Its forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is sealed and nitrogen-filled, protecting the multi-coated optics. It has a 7-degree field of view and an exit pupil of approximately 8 mm.

Included Mount and Fit

A quick-release rail mount is included with this ECOS package, along with backup iron sights. This is a different package from a standard ACOG with a thumbscrew mount. The ACOG has 1.5 inches of eye relief, so check that your setup allows a comfortable viewing position.
