The SIG P229 Elite is SIG’s compact DA/SA 9mm. The P229 takes the P226 idea and shortens the slide and barrel for a compact metal-frame carry gun.

This is a P229 alloy-frame 9mm, not a full-size P226 and not a P365. These pistols ship to a licensed FFL.

This configuration

Elite details on this pistol include a beavertail frame, front-strap checkering, a SIG accessory rail, and the one-piece E2 polymer grip. SIGLITE night sights are mounted on the slide. The Short Reset Trigger retains the familiar DA/SA stroke and shortens the reset after each shot. The slide is not optic-ready. Factory sights are SIGLITE night sights. Two 10-round steel magazines are included for California-compliant capacity. A red-dot sight and an optic plate are not part of this package.
