SIG P365 XMacro Comp Pistols

The SIG P365 XMacro Comp is the compensated P365 XMacro. SIG cuts a compensator into the slide on the 17-round XMACRO grip so you get ports with the same overall length as the unported XMacro. The compensated slide uses a 3.1 in. barrel inside a ported XMACRO-length slide. The grip still takes a flush 17-round magazine and a 1913 rail. A factory red dot is installed only when this page says so. These pistols ship to a licensed FFL.

These pistols are 9mm, striker-fired, and built on the XMACRO polymer grip module with a standard M1913 rail and interchangeable small, medium, and large backstraps. Most Comp models are optic-ready on SIG’s Compact (Shield RMSc) footprint with XRAY3 day/night sights. Factory-optic packages are separate models, not a universal red-dot fit.

Comp Versus Non-Comp XMACRO

The Comp uses a 3.1 in. carbon-steel barrel and an integrally ported slide. The standard P365 XMacro uses a 3.7 in. barrel and a solid XL-length slide with a longer sight radius. Both share the XMACRO grip and can accept the same 17-round or 10-round XMACRO magazines. Choose the Comp for the factory ports. Choose the XMACRO collection for the longer non-ported slide.

The original P365 pistols remain the shorter, lower-capacity carry guns. Comp pistols are still standard handguns and ship to a licensed FFL dealer. They are not NFA items.

Capacity, Safety, and Finish

The standard 17-round Comp is the core iron-sight pistol: Nitron slide, no manual safety, two 17-round steel magazines. The 10-round Comp uses the same slide and grip with two 10-round magazines. SIG lists that 10-round Comp for several magazine-restricted states; always confirm current rules.

Manual-safety Comp models add a lever on the frame. The 17-round and 10-round Comp-MS pistols are not the California gun. The California Comp adds a magazine disconnect and a mechanical loaded-chamber indicator with 10-round magazines. Optic-Ready and Factory-Optic Comps

Iron-sight Comp pistols use a Compact (Shield RMSc) cut for optics such as the SIG ROMEO-X Compact. That is a top-mount compact footprint, not a promise that every micro red dot will fit. A plate, different screw length, or another footprint can still be required.

The ROMEO-X Compact SIG-LOC Comp uses SIG’s enclosed, bottom-mount SIG-LOC sight on a SIG-LOC-ready slide. It is not a drop-in replacement for a standard RMSc optic. Off-Duty listings with an open ROMEO-X Compact are a different factory sight on the Compact footprint and are limited to eligible buyers.
