The SIG Rattler LT 5.56 SBR is the compact MCX. Same short-stroke piston and fully ambidextrous MCX controls, built around a much shorter barrel so the gun stays small without becoming a different platform.

The rail is optic-ready. A factory optic is not installed. SIG fits a QD flash hider meant for SIG SLX and SLH suppressors; that is not a claim that every can mounts. These firearms ship to a licensed FFL.

This configuration

This SBR puts a folding stock on a 7.75 in. cold-hammer-forged 5.56 barrel. You still get the LT piston, an adjustable gas valve, SIG’s flat-blade match trigger, and fully ambidextrous MCX controls. SIG includes a 30-round polymer magazine. The rail is optic-ready. A factory optic is not installed. Extended length is about 25.75 in.; folded it comes back to about 18.1 in. Weight is 6.2 lb. Twist is 1:7. SIG fits a QD flash hider meant for SIG SLX and SLH suppressors; that is not a claim that every can mounts. Because this short barrel has a stock, it is an NFA short-barreled rifle.
