The Trijicon CA101Y HD night sight set pairs a yellow front outline with green tritium lamps for a Colt-cut 1911. It includes both front and rear sights, with a black rear outline and a U-shaped notch.

The Colt sight cut is the important distinction in this set. It is a different application from the CA128 series for Novak-style low-mount dovetails, so the 1911 name alone is not enough to establish fit. Match the existing sight configuration to the Colt-cut version before ordering.

Photoluminescent paint gives the front sight a prominent colored ring, while the tritium lamps provide illumination without batteries. The front blade measures 0.144 in. wide, and the rear notch measures 0.169 in. wide. Protective aluminum lamp cylinders, silicone cushioning, and sapphire caps help protect the illuminated elements.
