The Trijicon ACOG TA11J pairs a red .223/5.56 crosshair reticle with fixed 3.5×35 optics. The fine illuminated center contrasts with heavier outer lines, and the vertical ballistic scale extends below the crosshair.

This configuration includes the TA51 thumbscrew mount and has a matte-black forged-aluminum housing. The crosshair pattern gives the TA11J a different sight picture from the red-chevron TA11F or horseshoe TA11H, while retaining .223/5.56 calibration.

The reticle uses fiber optics for ambient-light-responsive daytime illumination and tritium for illumination in low light. No battery or brightness dial is needed. The 8-inch scope provides 2.4 inches of eye relief and a 28.9-foot field of view at 100 yards, with multicoated lenses and nitrogen filling to resist internal fogging.
