The Trijicon ACOG TA31-C-100380 4×32 riflescope combines a green crosshair reticle calibrated for .223 with a Flat Dark Earth finish. Its fixed-power design, dual illumination, and included TA51 mount make it a complete scope package for a compatible flattop rail.
Green Crosshair Reticle
The green crosshair provides a familiar alternative to a chevron or horseshoe. Fiber optics and tritium illuminate the reticle, while the Flat Dark Earth finish gives the housing an earth-tone appearance.
The crosshair uses intersecting lines for a familiar central reference, with ballistic markings incorporated into the pattern. It is a different visual style from the ACOG chevron or horseshoe, making it a good fit when you prefer a conventional scope reticle.
Battery-Free Fiber Optics and Tritium
Fiber optics collect available light to illuminate the reticle during the day, while tritium provides illumination in low light. You do not need to switch the scope on or keep a spare battery for its reticle. Brightness responds to available light rather than a manual dial.
The reticle remains etched into the optical system, so its pattern is not created solely by illumination. This gives you a visible reference even when the illuminated portion is less prominent against the background. The scope itself has no battery compartment.
Compact Fixed-Power Construction
The scope combines fixed 4x magnification with a 32 mm objective lens. Its forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is sealed and nitrogen-filled, protecting the multi-coated optics. It has a 7-degree field of view and an exit pupil of approximately 8 mm.
Included Mount and Fit
The included TA51-style thumbscrew mount attaches to a compatible flattop rail. The ACOG uses a dedicated mounting base rather than conventional riflescope rings. It has a relatively short eye relief of 1.5 inches, so check your available rail space and normal viewing position before choosing a mount.
