The Trijicon Compact ACOG TA50-C-400353 is a low-height 3×24 riflescope with a green crosshair reticle calibrated for .223 55-grain ammunition. The crosshair and ballistic references distinguish it from the green horseshoe-and-dot TA50-C-400356. Both reticle geometry and housing height matter when selecting a TA50.
Its fixed 3x optical system provides a 25.6-foot field of view at 100 yards, with 1.4-inch eye relief and an 8 mm exit pupil. The low-height housing changes the profile relative to standard-height TA50 models; it does not change the magnification or turn the optic into a different caliber configuration.
Fiber optics gather ambient light for daytime reticle illumination, and tritium supplies illumination in low light without a battery. The forged aluminum housing contains a nitrogen-filled optical system with multicoated lenses. The included Q-LOC mount provides a quick-release connection for a compatible Picatinny rail.
