The Trijicon Compact ACOG TA50-C-400356 pairs a low-height housing with a green horseshoe-and-dot reticle calibrated for .223 55-grain ammunition. The surrounding horseshoe and central dot provide a different visual layout from a crosshair, while the ballistic reference marks retain the cartridge-specific character of this model.

Fixed 3x magnification and a 24 mm objective give this TA50 a 25.6-foot field of view at 100 yards. Eye relief is 1.4 inches, shorter than that of the 3×30 TA33. This is the low-height counterpart to the standard-height TA50-C-400350, with a Q-LOC mount included.

Fiber optics gather ambient light for daytime reticle illumination, and tritium supplies illumination in low light without a battery. The forged aluminum housing contains a nitrogen-filled optical system with multicoated lenses. The included Q-LOC mount provides a quick-release connection for a compatible Picatinny rail.
