The Trijicon Compact ACOG TA44-C-400333 combines fixed 1.5x magnification with a green ring and 2 MOA center dot in a low-height housing. The circular outline surrounds a small central reference, offering a simpler sight picture than the caliber-specific RTR patterns. This is the low-height version, not the standard-height TA44-C-400329.
Its 16 mm objective, 2.4-inch eye relief and 39-foot field of view at 100 yards give this small optic a distinct balance of modest magnification and viewing width. The lower housing profile is a separate choice from the included mount; overall rail clearance and viewing height still depend on the complete mounting arrangement.
Fiber optics gather ambient light for daytime reticle illumination, and tritium supplies illumination in low light without a battery. The forged aluminum housing contains a nitrogen-filled optical system with multicoated lenses. The included Q-LOC mount provides a quick-release connection for a compatible Picatinny rail.
