This Trijicon VCOG 1-6×24 combines a red horseshoe dot/crosshair reticle with the .308 / 175-grain calibration. The horseshoe surrounding the center dot gives it a different visual pattern from the segmented-circle .308 version. Both the matte-black scope and its TA51 thumbscrew mount are included.

First-focal-plane construction preserves the relationship between the reticle markings and the image as magnification changes. This model uses 1/2-MOA click adjustments and a 24 mm objective. The .308 / 175-grain designation is specific to its reticle calibration and should not be confused with a universal MOA or MIL reticle.

A single AA battery powers the red LED illumination, with six selectable brightness settings. Trijicon rates continuous operation at 700 hours on setting 4 with a lithium AA battery. The scope also accepts an alkaline AA, but that runtime rating applies to the lithium battery. Illumination power comes from the battery, not fiber optics or tritium.

The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing has a matte-black finish and a submersion rating of 20 m. Its integrated mounting interface uses the included TA51 adapter instead of conventional scope rings. The box also includes a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
