The Trijicon Huron 1-4×24 riflescope pairs a low-power zoom range with the black BDC Hunter Holds reticle for a straightforward hunting optic. Model HR424-C-2700001 has a 30 mm tube and a satin black finish. At 10.4 inches long and 15.9 ounces, it offers a compact format for a rifle carried through the woods.
The reticle combines a fine center with heavier outer posts and additional reference marks. Its second-focal-plane position keeps its apparent size consistent as magnification changes. This is a non-illuminated scope: the reticle is black, with no powered dot or brightness settings to manage.
Fully multi-coated lenses use broadband anti-reflective coatings to support clear detail and color, while scratch-resistant coatings help protect the glass. The easy-focus eyepiece provides diopter adjustment. The field of view runs from 95.0 feet at 1x to 24.2 feet at 4x, measured at 100 yards.
Low-profile capped turrets help protect the windage and elevation settings, with 1/4 MOA clicks and 100 MOA of total adjustment travel. The 6061 aluminum housing is filled with dry nitrogen to resist internal fogging and is rated for submersion to 10 feet. A lens cap and Scopecoat cover are included; compatible 30 mm rings or a mount are selected separately.
