The Trijicon Ascent 1-4×24 riflescope pairs a 24 mm objective with a matte black, 30 mm aluminum body. Model AT424-C-2800001 is the lightest of these four Ascent options at 15.9 ounces, making it a practical choice when a compact scope and modest magnification range matter more than high top-end power. Its 10.4-inch length also keeps the optic relatively short.
Black BDC Target Holds Reticle
This model has a non-illuminated black BDC Target Holds reticle in the second focal plane. The pattern combines heavier outer posts with a finer center and reference marks along the crosshair. Its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. There is no powered dot or illuminated center to adjust, and no battery is needed.
Coated Glass and Protected Adjusters
Fully multi-coated lenses use broadband anti-reflective coatings to support light transmission and image contrast. Scratch-resistant lens coatings and a dry-nitrogen-filled housing add protection for regular outdoor use. Capped windage and elevation adjusters keep the controls covered during transport. The knurled magnification ring and focusing eyepiece allow magnification and reticle focus to be set independently.
