The Trijicon Credo 3-9×40 in model CR940-C-2900043 pairs a red illuminated Duplex reticle with a second-focal-plane optical system. Its Standard Duplex reticle has heavier outer posts that narrow to a fine crosshair at the center. The matte-black scope uses a 1-inch tube and weighs 17.02 ounces.
The clean reticle layout has no numbered reference grid, and its apparent size stays constant throughout the 3-9x magnification range. Eleven LED brightness settings provide red illumination from one CR2032 battery. Low capped adjusters keep the controls compact and use 1/4 MOA increments.
The scope measures 12.3 inches long and has a 40 mm objective with fully multi-coated lenses. Its field of view spans 35.5 to 11.8 feet at 100 yards, with 3.5 to 3.7 inches of eye relief. Bikini caps and a Scopecoat are included for protection during storage and transport.
