The Highest-Magnification Ascent Option

The Trijicon Ascent 4-16×50 riflescope combines the highest magnification in this Ascent group with a 50 mm objective. Model AT1650-C-2800004 has a matte black finish and a 30 mm tube. Its 24.2-ounce weight is an important tradeoff against the lighter 3-12×40: the larger objective and 16x upper range come in a heavier scope.

Black BDC Target Holds in the Second Focal Plane

This model uses a non-illuminated black BDC Target Holds reticle with a fine center, reference marks, and heavier outer posts. The reticle stays the same apparent size as magnification changes because it sits in the second focal plane. There is no illuminated center or brightness dial, and no battery is required.

Coated Lenses and Capped Adjusters

Fully multi-coated lenses have broadband anti-reflective coatings, with scratch-resistant surfaces for added protection. The 6061 aluminum body is dry-nitrogen filled to resist internal fogging and carries a manufacturer-listed 10-foot submersion rating. Capped windage and elevation adjusters provide 1/4 MOA clicks. The focusing eyepiece gives the scope an adjustable diopter for individual eyesight.

Included Protection and Mounting Requirements

Trijicon includes a lens cap, Scopecoat cover, quick reference guide, warranty card, and vinyl logo sticker. Rings or a scope mount are not included. Although this model shares a 30 mm tube with the smaller Ascent scopes, its larger objective housing has different clearance requirements; tube diameter alone does not establish mount compatibility.
