This flat dark earth Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 pairs a red MOA crosshair-dot reticle with a Q-LOC quick-release mount. The housing has Trijicon’s FDE FIR-265 Cerakote finish, and this configuration includes Tenebraex flip caps. This is the MOA configuration, not the MRAD or SCO version.

A segmented circle surrounds the crosshair and center dot. The universal MOA reticle is in the first focal plane, keeping its markings proportional to the image from 1x through 8x. The 1/4-MOA click adjustments use the same units as the reticle, and an integral fin provides a grip surface on the magnification dial.

The LED reticle runs on one AA battery and offers 11 brightness settings: two for night-vision compatibility, eight for daylight, and one extra-bright setting. Trijicon specifies 633 hours of operation at setting 6 with a lithium AA battery. An alkaline AA is also supported; the quoted runtime is for lithium power.

The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is rated for submersion to 20 m. Its integrated mounting interface uses the supplied Q-LOC quick-release mount without conventional scope rings. Tenebraex flip caps are included, along with a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
