Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 FFP Riflescope, Red MRAD Segmented Circle Reticle, Flat Dark Earth
This flat dark earth Trijicon VCOG 1-8×28 is the SCO configuration with the red MRAD Segmented Circle Enhanced reticle. It includes a LaRue Tactical LT799 mount, Tenebraex flip caps, and a soft carrying case. The housing has an FDE FIR-265 Cerakote finish.
The Enhanced pattern adds a graduated grid beneath the central crosshair and dot, distinguishing it from the standard VCOG MRAD crosshair-dot pattern. It is a first-focal-plane reticle, so its scale relative to the image remains consistent across the 1-8x range. The 0.1-MRAD adjustments match its units, and eye relief ranges from 4 to 3.9 inches.
The LED reticle runs on one AA battery and offers 11 brightness settings: two for night-vision compatibility, eight for daylight, and one extra-bright setting. Trijicon specifies 633 hours of operation at setting 6 with a lithium AA battery. An alkaline AA is also supported; the quoted runtime is for lithium power.
The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing has an FDE Cerakote finish and a submersion rating of 20 m. The included LT799 mount attaches to the scope’s integrated mounting interface without conventional rings. Along with the flip caps and soft case, the package contains a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
