The SIG ROMEO Zero is SIG’s micro pistol red dot. ROMEOZero Elite is the open-emitter compact sight SIG builds for slim, optic-ready pistol slides. This is a pistol-footprint sight, not a ROMEO5 rifle red dot. Confirm the footprint and screw length on the slide you are mounting.
The sight listed here is the ROMEOZero Elite 3 MOA, model SOR01030, in a black carbon-infused polymer housing. It is the Elite member of the family, with an aspheric glass lens, MOTAC illumination, T.A.P. brightness control, an included steel shroud, and a SuperLuminova backup rear notch. The original ROMEOZero uses a polymer lens and does not add those Elite controls.
Footprint and Fitment
Confirm the slide cut before you buy. ROMEOZero and ROMEOZero Elite share the compact ROMEOZero / Shield RMSc pattern, which SIG also lists as Shield RMS-c. SIG states the Elite is compatible with optic-ready P365 pistols and includes custom screws for pistols such as the Springfield Hellcat OSP and Glock 43X MOS. Other RMSc-cut pistols may still need different screws or a manufacturer-approved interface. This is not a universal pistol sight.
A ROMEOZero Elite will not replace a ROMEO1PRO on a SIG PRO-cut slide. ROMEO-X Compact is SIG’s aluminum compact-footprint sight for optic-ready P365-family pistols, with a side-loading battery and night-vision brightness settings; it is a different series. ROMEO-X PRO uses the larger PRO footprint. ROMEO5 is a 1×20 tube sight for Picatinny-equipped rifles and carbines, not a pistol-slide micro dot.
Reticle, Battery, and Controls
SOR01030 is a single 3 MOA red dot. A separate Elite SKU offers a 2 MOA dot with a 32 MOA circle; that circle-dot sight is not this listing. There are eight daytime brightness settings. MOTAC turns the emitter off after two minutes without motion and restores the last setting when the sight moves. The CR1632 battery loads from the underside, so the optic has to come off the slide for a battery change.
Choose the ROMEOZero Elite when you want the compact RMSc-pattern pistol sight with Elite glass and the included steel shroud. Choose ROMEO-X Compact when you want a machined aluminum housing and a side-loading battery. Stay with ROMEO1PRO or ROMEO-X PRO when the slide is cut for the larger PRO footprint.
