Trijicon suppressor height sights offer model-specific iron sight options for pistols used with suppressors or slide-mounted optics. This collection includes three-dot night sights and sets with an illuminated front sight and a plain rear. The right choice depends on the pistol’s sight fitment, the height required by the complete setup, and the outline and lamp colors you prefer.

Start with the Pistol and Slide

Glock standard-frame, large-frame, slimline, and small-frame MOS sights are separate configurations. GL201 sets cover the listed standard-frame models, while GL204 sets have their own large-frame fitment and front sight height. Slimline GL243 sets also vary: the taller versions designed for an RMRcc mounting plate and the newer MOS versions do not share the same sight heights. Match the complete manufacturer model number, not just the pistol brand or sight family.

Smith & Wesson options distinguish standard M&P and SD-series fitment from M&P C.O.R.E. and M2.0 Optics Ready fitment. The SA237-C-600900 excludes Shield and C.O.R.E. pistols, while the SA240 models here are specified for C.O.R.E. and M2.0 Optics Ready applications. The SG201-C-600907 is for listed SIG Sauer 9mm and .357 SIG models and excludes the P938 and P365.

Choose the Outline and Illumination

Outline color and tritium color describe different parts of the sight. White, orange, and yellow front outlines provide visible daytime surrounds. Black outlines give the sight faces a more subdued appearance. An orange or yellow front outline does not mean the tritium lamp glows that color: the front lamps in these sets are green.

Three-dot models contain tritium in both sights. Most use green lamps throughout, while GL201-C-600650 has orange rear lamps and GL201-C-600651 has yellow rear lamps. Front-only illuminated models instead pair a green-tritium front with a plain metal rear. A black-outlined rear sight may still contain tritium, so check the rear lamp specification rather than relying on the word “black.”

Compare Heights for an Optic-Equipped Pistol

A suppressor-height label is not a guarantee of clearance with every suppressor or of a particular view through an optic. Slide cuts, adapter plates, optic housings, and sight dimensions all matter. The taller slimline GL243 sets are designed for use with an RMRcc mounting plate. The GL243-C-601175 MOS model is specifically incompatible with an RMRcc mounted on the AC32126 adapter plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do all of these sights have illuminated rear dots?

No. Three-dot night sight sets have front and rear tritium lamps. Models described as having a non-tritium or plain metal rear illuminate the front sight only. Black rear outlines can surround tritium lamps, so they are not the same as a non-illuminated rear.

Are the Glock slimline and MOS versions interchangeable?

Do not assume so. The GL243-C-601140 tall set has a 0.450-inch front blade height, while the GL243-C-601174 and GL243-C-601175 MOS sets list a 0.220-inch front blade height. Their intended optic and mounting arrangements differ. Check the exact model’s fitment and dimensions before ordering.

Does a yellow outline mean yellow tritium?

No. A yellow front outline surrounds a green front lamp in these models. The GL201-C-600651 is a different configuration: it has white outlines, a green front lamp, and yellow rear lamps. Outline color describes the daytime surround; lamp color describes the illumination.

Do tritium sights need batteries?

No. The tritium lamps illuminate without batteries. On front-only illuminated sets, this applies to the front sight; the plain rear has no tritium lamp. The painted outlines and the tritium lamps serve different roles in the sight’s appearance.

What comes with a sight set?
