The EOTECH 552 XR308 Holographic Weapon Sight, .308 Ballistic Reticle, Black is a night-vision-compatible EOTECH holographic weapon sight built around the proven 552 platform. It gives shooters the fast, both-eyes-open EOTECH sight picture with a longer AA-battery body, rugged rail mounting, and compatibility with Gen I through III+ night vision devices.

The EOTECH 552 runs on two widely available AA batteries and supports lithium, alkaline, or rechargeable cells. Battery life is rated up to 2,500 continuous hours with lithium batteries or 2,200 continuous hours with alkaline batteries at nominal setting 12 at room temperature, making it a strong choice for users who prefer common battery logistics.

The XR308 version uses EOTECH’s .308 ballistic reticle instead of the standard 68 MOA ring/dot layout. The XR308 reticle is designed around .308 Cal. 150 grain M59 FMJ ammunition at approximately 2,800 fps from a 24.8 inch barrel, giving shooters a 552 platform with reticle references built for .308 applications.

The 552 mounts to 1 inch Weaver or MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails and uses a hex cross bolt with thumbscrew for secure installation. It measures 5.6 inches long, weighs 11.5 oz., provides 0.5 MOA click adjustments, and is water resistant to 33 feet for dependable field use.
