The Ruger LCR line is built around Ruger's lightweight compact revolver design, using a 7000-series aluminum monolithic frame, a polymer fire-control housing and a high-strength stainless steel cylinder.

A patented friction-reducing cam helps create a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull, while the fluted PVD-finished cylinder helps reduce weight and improve durability.

This model includes fixed sights and a grip peg that allows compatible grip styles to be installed.
