Description
SIG Sauer Cross TRAX Rifle,.243 Win, 16-Inch Barrel, Black, 5-Round
The SIG Cross TRAX is SIG’s folding bolt-action hunting rifle. The Cross is a one-piece receiver with a folding precision stock, a 2-stage match trigger, and a free-float handguard so a hunting rifle still packs like a camp gun.
The receiver is optic-ready. A factory scope is not installed. Magazines are AICS-pattern on the short-action guns. These are serialized rifles and ship to a licensed FFL.
This configuration
TRAX replaces the full folding precision stock with a minimalist folding stock, a polymer cheek piece, and integrated sling QD points. The grip is an AR-compatible PDW pattern, and the bolt knob and handle are the low-profile, no-snag TRAX parts. SIG lists a compact folded length of 26 inches for TRAX. An ultra-light skeletonized 11.5-inch M-LOK handguard shortens the forend compared with the standard hunting Cross. The 16-inch stainless barrel uses a 1:9 twist for.243 Winchester and 5/8-24 tapered threads with a thread protector and taper cap. SIG lists overall length at 35.1 in., width 2.8 in., height 7.1 in., and weight 5.9 lb.
