The SIG ROMEO5 Gen II is SIG’s enclosed rifle red dot. The ROMEO5 is a 1×20 mm sight for a Picatinny rail, built to ride a carbine, PCC, or shotgun without turning into a pistol micro dot.

Confirm the reticle, housing, and mount on the sight you receive. This is not a ROMEOZero pistol sight. Mounting hardware in the box is for a MIL-STD 1913 rail unless the product page says otherwise.

This configuration

The included M1913 I-BEAM mount sits at 1.41 in. absolute co-witness height. The mount is interchangeable; a separate low M1913 mount is listed for select GEN II SKUs. Choose the height that matches the host rail and backup sights rather than assuming one mount fits every rifle. Top-mounted ambidextrous controls offer 12 illumination settings, including 10 daylight and 2 night-vision-compatible levels. MOTAC motion-activated illumination turns the LED on with movement and off after about 120 seconds at rest. Those NV settings are dim illumination for compatible night-vision equipment; they do not add night vision to the sight.
