The SIG ROMEO5 Gen II is SIG’s enclosed rifle red dot. The ROMEO5 is a 1×20 mm sight for a Picatinny rail, built to ride a carbine, PCC, or shotgun without turning into a pistol micro dot.

Confirm the reticle, housing, and mount on the sight you receive. This is not a ROMEOZero pistol sight. Mounting hardware in the box is for a MIL-STD 1913 rail unless the product page says otherwise.

This configuration

SOR5001 is a GEN II 2 MOA red compact, not the original ROMEO5 (SOR52001) and not a pistol ROMEO-X. The original ROMEO5 used 8 daylight plus 2 night-vision settings and a conventional riser set. GEN II uses 12 settings, top-mounted controls, and the I-BEAM mount. SIG rates the GEN II family at 40,000 hours on a side-loading CR2032, IPX-7 sealing, 0.5 MOA clicks, and 100 MOA of travel. The I-BEAM is the 1.41 in. absolute co-witness height unless a select-SKU low mount is fitted. SOR5101 is the standard GEN II red-dot listing if you are comparing the two black 2 MOA models.
