This California-compliant configuration uses a fixed stock, Strike Industries grip, SA muzzle brake, and 10-round Magpul PMAG while retaining the Hellion's short-stroke piston system and ambidextrous operating layout.

Hellion Bullpup Platform

Springfield's Hellion design uses a two-position adjustable short-stroke piston system, reversible case ejection, ambidextrous safety, ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous magazine and bolt releases, integrated flip-up sights, and a full-length Picatinny top rail. The polymer M-Lok handguard adds accessory mounting space, and the included padded rifle case helps protect the rifle and mounted optics during transport.
