The Trijicon Compact ACOG TA44-C-400389 combines fixed 1.5x magnification with the original RTR 9mm PCC reticle and a Q-LOC mount. This reticle has a red 2 MOA illuminated center dot, a horseshoe outline and ballistic reference marks. Trijicon specifies this pattern for 115-grain 9mm ammunition, giving it a different calibration from the enhanced RTR generation.

The 1.5x16S optical system provides 2.4 inches of eye relief and a 39-foot field of view at 100 yards. That combination offers a broader view than the 2×20 model while retaining some magnification. Its compact housing and caliber-specific reticle make the model number, not simply the ACOG name, important when comparing PCC configurations.

Fiber optics gather ambient light for daytime reticle illumination, and tritium supplies illumination in low light without a battery. The forged aluminum housing contains a nitrogen-filled optical system with multicoated lenses. The included Q-LOC mount provides a quick-release connection for a compatible Picatinny rail.
