A Straightforward Red Dot and Iron-Sight Package

The RMR Type 2 uses a single 3.25 MOA red dot in a non-magnifying view. Its black forged-aluminum housing surrounds the lens, while the dedicated plate provides the mounting interface for a compatible commercial M17/M18. The optic and mounting components are supplied together.

The iron sights in this kit are non-tritium and do not glow in the dark. They provide a plain, blacked-out backup reference at a height that can be viewed through the optic. This makes RM06-C-700817 the black kit for buyers who prefer non-illuminated irons alongside their red dot.

Automatic or Manual Dot Intensity

Automatic brightness responds to ambient light. The eight manual settings give you direct control of the aiming dot, including two levels for night-vision equipment. Button Lock-Out lets you keep the optic in automatic operation without accidental control changes.

A bottom-loading CR2032 powers the LED. Trijicon rates the adjustable LED RMR for more than four years of continuous use at setting 4 of 8 under its test conditions.
