A Black RMR Kit with Illuminated Backup Sights

The adjustable LED RMR Type 2 supplies a single 3.25 MOA red dot. Its forged-aluminum housing has a black finish, and its non-magnifying view keeps the sight picture simple. The kit pairs that optic with a dedicated M17/M18 mounting plate instead of requiring you to purchase the optic and plate separately.

Bright & Tough tritium sights are the defining feature of this version. Their self-illuminating lamps provide a visible reference in low light without drawing power from the RMR battery. The iron sights sit at optic height so they can be viewed through the sight window as a backup.

Adjustable LED Illumination

The RMR offers automatic brightness and eight manual settings, including two for night-vision equipment. Side-mounted buttons let you choose the dot intensity, and Button Lock-Out keeps the sight operating automatically while preventing accidental changes. A conservation timer returns an unlocked manual setting to automatic mode after approximately 16.5 hours without a button press.

A CR2032 powers the red dot. Trijicon rates the adjustable LED optic for more than four years of continuous use at setting 4 of 8 under its stated test conditions. The bottom-loading battery requires optic removal for replacement. The night sights remain a separate illumination system; their tritium does not power the red dot.
