The Trijicon CA128Y HD night sight set is made for 1911 pistols with Novak-style low-mount dovetail cuts. This version has a yellow photoluminescent front outline, green tritium lamps, and a black-outlined U-notch rear sight.
Choose this set by the slide’s sight-cut pattern, not simply by the pistol being a 1911. The CA128 series is the Novak-cut option; the Colt-cut CA101 series uses a different configuration. The set supplies a matched front and rear pair rather than a front sight alone.
The front ring provides color contrast in available light, and the three tritium lamps supply a battery-free glow. The front blade is 0.144 in. wide, paired with a rear notch 0.169 in. wide. Aluminum cylinders and silicone cushioning protect the lamps, with sapphire caps over the illuminated elements.
