Trijicon VCOG 1-6×24 FFP Riflescope, Red .223/55gr Horseshoe Dot/Crosshair Reticle, TA51 Mount, Black

This Trijicon VCOG 1-6×24 uses the red horseshoe dot/crosshair reticle calibrated for .223 ammunition with a 55-grain bullet. The horseshoe outline and center dot distinguish it from the segmented-circle version with the same cartridge designation. A TA51 thumbscrew mount is included with the matte-black scope.

The cartridge-specific reticle is in the first focal plane, so the relationship between its markings and the image stays consistent as magnification changes. This model has 1/2-MOA click adjustments, not the 1/4-MOA clicks used on the universal MOA variants. The .223 / 55-grain designation identifies a particular reticle calibration, not a guarantee of identical results with every load.

A single AA battery powers the red LED illumination, with six selectable brightness settings. Trijicon rates continuous operation at 700 hours on setting 4 with a lithium AA battery. The scope also accepts an alkaline AA, but that runtime rating applies to the lithium battery. Illumination power comes from the battery, not fiber optics or tritium.

The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing has a matte-black finish and a submersion rating of 20 m. Its integrated mounting interface uses the included TA51 adapter instead of conventional scope rings. The box also includes a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
