Start with the Optic Footprint and Host Interface

A mount has to match both the optic and the surface beneath it. An RMR-footprint plate, an RMRcc plate and an MRO base are different accessories. The compact Trijicon RMRcc has its own footprint, so an RMR or SRO mount should not be chosen simply because the names look similar. For an RCR, confirm the exact slide and plate combination as well.

Pistol model names can span several slide configurations. A rear-sight dovetail mount is different from an optics-ready adapter. Full-size Glock MOS and slimline 43X/48 MOS plates have separate part numbers; the AC32126 slimline plate excludes Glock 48 MOS Gen 6. For P365-family adapters, the AC32096 is for Gen 1 P365XL slides with the rear sight in the cover plate, while AC32124 covers listed Gen II models with a fixed rear sight and excludes SIG-LOC.

Low, Co-Witness and Extra-High Rail Mounts

Mount height changes where an optic sits in relation to the rail and other sights. The MRO range includes low, full co-witness, lower 1/3 co-witness and extra-high options. The standard low AC32067 positions the MRO optical axis 0.985 inches above the rail; the extra-high AC32114 raises it to 2.26 inches. Rail attachment options include screw-secured bases, quick-release levers and spring-loaded Q-LOC clamps.

Full co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness describe intended relationships with compatible iron sights, not guaranteed results with every combination. Confirm the optic, iron sights and rail arrangement together. Weaver-specific low mounts also have separate part numbers, so check the rail interface rather than assuming that similar-looking bases are equivalent. ACOG Bases and RMR Adapters Serve Different Roles

An ACOG base such as the TA51 supports the scope on the rail. An ACOG-to-RMR adapter supports a secondary optic on the scope itself. RM35 covers listed 3.5×35, 4×32 and 5.5×50 ACOG models with bosses, while AC32065 covers the corresponding no-boss application. AC32052 is listed for boss-equipped 3×24, 3×30 and 3.5×35 LED models. The LED version has a different mount designation from other 3.5×35 scopes, so match the complete model and housing.

Compare the exact housing and base configuration when selecting an accessory for a Trijicon ACOG scope. Magnification alone is not a complete compatibility check.

Offset Adapters, Ring-Cap Plates and Hardware Kits

The AC32066 provides an angled rail section and requires a separate RM33 low mount for an RMR or SRO. The AC32078 RMR/SRO and AC32110 RMRcc Q-LOC models instead have integrated optic platforms. Accessory ring-cap plates attach to compatible scope-mount caps. The low, medium and high RMR plates are optimized for scope adjusters 0.8, 1 and 1.4 inches tall, respectively; those measurements describe adjuster clearance, not optical-axis height above the rail.

Small hardware items have specific roles too. An RMR sealing plate supports the sealing surface beneath the optic; it does not convert a slide cut. RMR and SRO mounting kits are not universal pistol adapters. Complete RMR sights and SRO sights are available in their own collections.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do RMR and RMRcc optics use the same mount?

No. The RMRcc has a distinct footprint. Select an RMRcc-specific mount or a correctly identified adapter for the host interface; a standard RMR-footprint plate is not the same part.

Is a Glock MOS plate the same as a Glock dovetail mount?

No. The dovetail mount replaces the rear sight, while a Glock MOS plate is intended for an optics-ready slide. Full-size MOS and slimline 43X/48 MOS applications also have separate RMRcc plates, and the AC32126 slimline plate does not fit Glock 48 MOS Gen 6.

Are all low Q-LOC mounts the same height?

No. Height depends on the mount and optic. The low AC32079 positions an MRO’s optical axis 1.043 inches above the rail. On the low AC32076, an RMR sits at 0.923 inches and an SRO at 1.164 inches. Q-LOC identifies the rail attachment system, not one universal height.

Why do ACOG mounting bosses matter?

They determine which scope-mounted RMR adapter is appropriate. An adapter for an ACOG with bosses is not interchangeable with the corresponding no-boss mount. Confirm the ACOG size and housing configuration together.

Does a sealing plate replace the pistol’s optic adapter?

No. A sealing plate provides a supporting surface beneath the RMR where needed. The pistol adapter establishes the connection to the slide. These parts have different functions.

Is an accessory ring-cap plate a complete scope mount?

No. It is one part of a system that also requires a compatible accessory cap and main scope mount. The plate’s footprint and height must suit the optic and the available clearance.

The mounts, plates, kits and lens cover in this collection are supplied without a complete red dot sight or scope. Each product’s details identify its included components; optics and other separately required mounting parts are not included unless expressly stated.
