The Trijicon AccuPoint TR23-2G brings a Mil-Dot crosshair and green illuminated center dot to the 5-20×50 format. The dotted crosshair adds reference detail compared with the duplex TR23-1G while retaining a second-focal-plane reticle and battery-free illumination.

Exposed windage and elevation adjusters and a side-parallax control distinguish the higher-power TR23 from capped, fixed-parallax AccuPoint models. Its Mil-Dot reticle is paired with 1/4-MOA adjustments, unlike the matched MRAD system of the newer TR33-C-200149. The matte-black body has a 30 mm tube and weighs 26.9 ounces without a sunshade.

The scope uses a second-focal-plane reticle, so its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. Fiber optics and tritium illuminate the center dot without a battery, with a manual brightness override for the fiber-optic system. Fully multicoated lenses and an aluminum housing complement the 50 mm objective and 30 mm main tube.
