The Trijicon Compact ACOG TA33-C-400371 features a green chevron reticle calibrated for .223 62-grain ammunition. The pointed chevron provides a different central reference from a crosshair or a horseshoe-and-dot pattern. This fixed 3×30 configuration includes the Q-LOC mount and a black housing.
The TA33 combines a 30 mm objective with 1.9-inch eye relief and an 8.4 mm exit pupil. Its field of view is 19.3 feet at 100 yards. Compared with the 3×24 TA50, it offers longer eye relief but a narrower field of view, so the choice is about optical geometry as well as magnification.
Fiber optics gather ambient light for daytime reticle illumination, and tritium supplies illumination in low light without a battery. The forged aluminum housing contains a nitrogen-filled optical system with multicoated lenses. The included Q-LOC mount provides a quick-release connection for a compatible Picatinny rail.
