The Trijicon ACOG TA648-308H combines fixed 6×48 optics with a .308/7.62 horseshoe-and-dot reticle. A red illuminated dot sits inside a black horseshoe, with horizontal references and a vertical ballistic scale surrounding the center.
The reticle is designed around 7.62 mm M80 ammunition and differs from the red-chevron TA648-308. This package includes the TA75 mount. The 9-inch scope has a matte-black forged-aluminum housing and provides 2.7 inches of eye relief and a 17-foot field of view at 100 yards.
Fiber optics provide ambient-light-responsive daytime illumination, while tritium lights the center in low light without a battery. Multicoated lenses and nitrogen-filled construction help maintain image clarity and resist internal fogging. The black horseshoe and red dot give this model a different illumination layout from a fully illuminated horseshoe reticle.
