The Trijicon Huron 2.5-10×40 riflescope balances a 2.5x starting magnification with a 10x upper setting and a 40 mm objective. Model HR1040-C-2700002 has a 30 mm tube, a satin black finish, and the BDC Hunter Holds reticle. It is a versatile hunting configuration for changing terrain and viewing distances.
The black reticle combines a fine center with heavier outer posts and additional reference marks. Its second-focal-plane design keeps the reticle at a consistent apparent size through the zoom range. This Huron is non-illuminated, with no battery or brightness controls required for the reticle.
Fully multi-coated lenses with broadband anti-reflective coatings support clear detail and color. Scratch-resistant coatings help protect the glass, while the easy-focus eyepiece provides diopter adjustment. Eye relief is 2.4-3.3 inches, and the field of view narrows from 40.2 to 10.0 feet at 100 yards across the magnification range.
The 12.55-inch scope weighs 18.2 ounces and uses low-profile capped turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks. Total adjustment travel is 70 MOA. Its 6061 aluminum housing is filled with dry nitrogen to resist internal fogging and is rated for submersion to 10 feet. The included lens cap and Scopecoat cover protect the optic during storage; compatible 30 mm rings or a mount are selected separately.
