The Trijicon ACOG TA02-D-100394 4×32 LED riflescope pairs a red horseshoe-and-dot reticle with manually adjustable brightness. The black scope has fixed 4x magnification, runs on one AA battery, and includes a TA51 mount.

Red Horseshoe-and-Dot Reticle

This is the red horseshoe option in the LED ACOG family. Choose it when you like the central dot and surrounding arc of a horseshoe reticle but prefer a brightness dial to the fiber-optic and tritium system of the TA31H.

The horseshoe surrounds a separate central dot, combining a broad curved reference with a smaller center. It provides a noticeably different sight picture from either a crosshair or a chevron while retaining the model-specific ballistic markings.

AA Power with Selectable Brightness

The LED system offers six brightness settings, with an off position between each pair of adjacent levels. You can switch off the illumination without turning the dial all the way back to the lowest setting. Unlike a TA31, the TA02 does not use a fiber-optic collector or tritium to light its reticle.

One AA battery powers the illumination. Trijicon specifies more than 12,000 hours of battery life at brightness setting 4 with an alkaline battery at 70 degrees Fahrenheit; brightness and temperature affect runtime. The etched reticle remains visible without illumination, so switching the LED off does not remove the pattern.

Compact Fixed-Power Construction

The scope combines fixed 4x magnification with a 32 mm objective lens. Its forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing is sealed and nitrogen-filled, protecting the multi-coated optics. It has a 7-degree field of view and an exit pupil of approximately 8 mm.

Included Mount and Fit

The included TA51-style thumbscrew mount attaches to a compatible flattop rail. The ACOG uses a dedicated mounting base rather than conventional riflescope rings. It has a relatively short eye relief of 1.5 inches, so check your available rail space and normal viewing position before choosing a mount.
