The green MOA version of the Trijicon VCOG 1-6×24 combines a segmented circle/crosshair reticle with 1/4-MOA adjustments. This is a universal angular reticle rather than a pattern calibrated for a particular cartridge and bullet weight. The scope has a matte-black finish and includes the TA51 thumbscrew mount.
First-focal-plane construction keeps the reticle markings in proportion to the image throughout the zoom range. The circle and crosshair provide a different visual layout from the horseshoe-dot variants, while the MOA markings and adjustments keep both scales in the same units. The integral magnification fin provides a built-in grip surface on the zoom dial.
A single AA battery powers the green LED illumination, with six selectable brightness settings. Trijicon rates continuous operation at 1,400 hours on setting 4 with a lithium AA battery. The scope also accepts an alkaline AA, but that runtime rating applies to the lithium battery. Illumination power comes from the battery, not fiber optics or tritium.
The forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing has a matte-black finish and a submersion rating of 20 m. Its integrated mounting interface uses the included TA51 adapter instead of conventional scope rings. The box also includes a lithium AA battery, LENSPEN, manual, warranty card, and Trijicon sticker.
