The Trijicon AccuPoint TR20R pairs the 3-9×40 optical format with a red triangle post reticle. Its single illuminated triangle and vertical post provide an open alternative to a graduated crosshair. Manufacturer material number 200010 distinguishes it from the amber TR20 and green TR20G.
The scope has a 1-inch main tube, a matte-black finish, and capped 1/4-MOA adjustments. At 13.4 ounces, it keeps weight below that of the larger 30 mm AccuPoint models. The 40 mm objective is also smaller than the 56 mm lens of the similarly styled TR22R.
The fiber-optic strip gathers daylight to illuminate the reticle, and tritium supplies the low-light glow. A manually adjustable fiber cover provides brightness control without a battery. Fully multicoated lenses and a nitrogen-filled aluminum housing support outdoor use, while the second-focal-plane reticle retains the same apparent size from 3x through 9x.
