Holosun IRIS-RD3 Features and Performance

The Holosun IRIS-RD3 brings together a visible red laser, IR aiming laser, and IR VCSEL illuminator in one rifle-mounted module. The visible 635nm red laser supports daylight aiming and zeroing, while the Class 1 IR laser and 60mW IR VCSEL illuminator support use with night vision devices.

The adjustable IR beam divergence lets the illuminator shift from a wider flood to a tighter spot, giving shooters more control over illumination across varying distances. Co-aligned visible and IR lasers help simplify zeroing by allowing both aiming systems to track together.

Controls are built for practical rifle use. The ambidextrous center fire button supports momentary or constant-on operation, while the rear control interface provides access to laser and illumination modes. A low-profile Crane-plug pressure pad with visible laser override is included for remote activation.

The IRIS-RD3 uses a single CR123A battery and a 7075-T6 aluminum housing with anodized black finish. IPX8 waterproof construction and 1000G vibration resistance help the module hold up to demanding field conditions.
