Holosun IRIS-IR1 Features and Performance
The Holosun IRIS-IR1 is a dedicated infrared laser sight built for rifle and carbine setups that need night vision compatible aiming. Its Class 1 IR laser produces an output under 0.7mW with an 800-880nm wavelength, giving users a clean aiming reference when paired with compatible night vision devices.
The compact low-profile housing is designed to reduce bulk compared to older LS117-style laser modules, making the IRIS-IR1 easier to fit onto modern rifle platforms with lights, switches, and other accessories. A top-mounted fire button supports momentary or constant ON use, while the rear-facing selector helps control power and operating modes without overcomplicating the setup.
For remote activation, the IRIS-IR1 includes a Crane plug compatible single-button pressure pad. This gives shooters more flexible placement options on the rail while keeping activation accessible from a normal firing grip.
The Holosun IRIS-IR1 uses a 7075-T6 aluminum housing with an anodized black finish, IPX8 waterproof protection, and 1000G vibration resistance. It runs on one AA battery and includes precision windage and elevation adjustment with 0.5 MOA clicks and +/-50 MOA travel for zeroing the infrared aiming laser.
